The main topic of the workshop was how to involve learners in assessing their learning. The participants were very active in the workshop. Prof. Orem was impressed with the high level of English and enthusiasm of the participants.
The local TV channel videotaped some fragments from the workshop, interviewed some teachers for its evening news programme.

Working with Young Learners
Although Mingechevir Branch is not included in AzETA Enjoy English Club Project, the Branch has established its own EEC involving active and talented students of the AzETA Mingechevir Branch teachers. As Mingechevir EEC wants to establish networking with their peer within AzETA network, 5 members of Mingechevir EEC requested to participate in EAMP event in Qebele held on 15 March 2008 where EAMP students gathered to celebrate Easter and Novruz, sang songs, danced, gave presentations. It was a great experience for all the children.
