This way they empower and it helps for their professional development.

Apart from such meetings, the Branch is actively involved in the below AzETA projects.

Teacher Training

Teacher trainers from AzETA Head Office also visit Mingechevir Branch to train a group of teachers there. All together 4 training sessions are planned for the school year of 2007-2008. So far, 1 session has successfully been organised. It was organised on 24 November 2007. The other sessions will be held on: 29 March, 3 May and 22 June. Teacher trainers from AzETA Head Office responsible for the training sessions in Mingechevir Branch are: Tarana Aliyeva and Janna Aliyeva

This Project is financed from AzETA membership fee budget. The trainers of the Project were trained by Dr Glenn Deckert, Senior English Language Fellow in 2006-2007 school year for the purposes of training their peers in all AzETA branches to empower AzETA members from its different branches.

Working with Young Learners

Although Mingechevir Branch is not included in AzETA Enjoy English Club Project, the Branch has established its own EEC involving active and talented students of the AzETA Mingechevir Branch teachers. As Mingechevir EEC wants to establish networking with their peer within AzETA network, they requested to be given a chance to 5 students to participate in EAMP event in Qebele on 15 March 2008 where the students will gather to celebrate Easter and Novruz, sing songs, dance, give presentations.
