Khachmaz Branch has also joined another project of AzETA. The classes are taught by the teachers of the respective AzETA Branch. The Project is supported by the Ministry of Education, where the Education Departments of the respective regions have been instructed to provide support to the implementation of the Project. Study Tour
Like other branches, AzETA Khachmaz Branch members also actively join AzETA study tours and share their knowledge and experience with others. Khachmaz Branch was the last to host the study tour of AzETA branches in 2006. It was organised on 26 May 2006. As this was the last study tour scheduled for the school year 2005-2006, AzETA made this an event more than a study tour. Andy Keedwell, English Programmes Manager of the British Council in Yerevan (2004-2007) joined the study tour and had a plenary talk titled: Learn, Teach and Associate which made the study tour a memorable event. The study tour was joined by the representatives of Khachmaz Education Department who welcomed AzETA's initiative to support regional teachers through different events.
Peace Corps Volunteers from Sheki, Zaqatala, Ganja and Mingechevir were also actively involved in the study tour and contributed to the discussions of the action plans of the branches. |
