Civic Education
This SIG is for the members interested in general issues of civic education including children's rights, environmental protection, human rights, democracy, etc. The Group members often give presentations on civic education both in AzETA events and other events locally and internationally.

The Group successfully implemented Student Government Association Project in 2004-2005 funded by the Democracy Commission Small Grants Competition Spring 2004 of US State Department. Seeing the success of the Project AzETA applied for the new grant to continue the Project. This time AzETA intends to implement the Project in different regions of Azerbaijan as the former Project covered 3 secondary schools in Baku and 1 secondary school in Sheki.

The Group has applied for funding to organise training on human rights. If the funding request is approved the training will be held in all AzETA branches.
