Grand Meetings of AzETA Branches
|
In AzETA Action Plan for 2006-2007 one of the tasks is to hold grand meetings of AzETA branches.
The first such a meeting was held in AzETA Ganja Branch on 17 February (visit the Ganja Branch page for more information on the meeting).
The aim of these meetings is to bring all the members of an individual branch together in a one day meeting, to discuss issues of concern of the branches and of the members, to listen to the report of the Branch Standing Committee, to learn about the forthcoming events of the Branch and of AzETA, in general, to improve organisational skills through organising the grand meeting, as well as, to get information on the number of the members of individual branches. To make these meetings interesting, members of individual branches will be given an opportunity to give presentations on different topics of ELT so that they can also improve their presentation skills. Wherever possible, Glenn Deckert, Senior English Language Fellow, AzETA Teacher Training Adviser will also join the meetings to provide expert advice on different issues.
The approximate agenda of the meetings is as below:

AzETA will render financial support to these meetings in stationary and tea breaks from the membership fee budget. Individual members are expected to cover their own transportation and meal costs. If you are interested in attending these meetings, please contact the your nearest branch. |
